SINOPSE

Christine, a lonely, sexually inhibited woman, gets involved in the world of corporate prostitution, where she joins a crusade against a white slaving corporation. All this and more plays out in the stunning new novel What Price Modesty? Ian Stratford, a hotel magnate, becomes her employer. While in Scotland, Christine meets her employer’s family and learns of plans to develop the Kentallen Castle into a tourist hotel. Taken to an old hunting lodge in the Scottish highlands as a companion to a former victim of white slavers, Christine finds herself in danger, as the slavers try to discover if the lady is a danger to them. Mandy, a colleague, finds a lead to the white slavers, and allows herself to be abducted in an attempt to uncover the ring, secure arrests, and finally end the white slave trade. But at What Price Modesty?
